We aim to help you honor and celebrate your choice as much as possible!
Typically speaking, parents already have good, general knowledge of hospital birth, procedures, and why they want a Homebirth. So, we will spend the majority of time building your confidence and supporting you through the natural process. However, there is always time to discuss what you need. If you feel you need to discuss items in more detail we can arrange additional time, either by phone or in person.

We are passionate about gentle and ecstatic birth in any environment. Not everyone desires a Homebirth or has the option. That's okay! In these classes, we aim to help you learn how to navigate through the hospital environment to have the best possible gentle birth for you, your baby, and your family.

Anyone planning a hospital birth that is particularly interested in natural birth, gentle birth, or would like to avoid interventions as long as possible.
Typically speaking, parents who register for this class already have a general understanding of hospital birth and common interventions. So, we will focus most on building your confidence and supporting you through the natural process. However, we will be discussing in detail reducing risks associated with interventions, how to increase comfort if or when used, birth plans, and asking questions. And, as always, questions you have and topics you wish to discuss are a priority! If you need additional time, we can arrange it either by phone or in person.

Abolutely. So, where you choose to gain education is important! If you're looking to gain DONA or CAPPA childbirth ed. credit for your Doula career, want in-depth education classes just for doula's, and awesome inspiration and support.....this is the place!
Our Ecstatic Classes are special, and not your typical childbirth classes. Jessica and I know this as we taught in a hospital for many years! They are taught with your specific needs in mind and are another golden opportunity to be in the company of fellow doulas. I am positive you will gain more knowlege and confidence than observing a series of classes in a hospital setting.
Ecstatic Birth takes an in-depth look at how a Mother and Baby are uniquely created to have a beautiful, transcending experience. Ecstatic Baby is a gentle approach to Baby Care with an in-depth look at a baby's nature and what their physical and emotional needs are. It is the perfect compliment to Ecstatic Birth. Both topics of education are thought-provoking and inspiring. Though these classes were originally created for homebirth parents, we will discuss how to help families create what is needed to have a gentle and Ecstatic Birth in whatever environment and situation they are in. We will also cover pregnancy anatomy/nutrition (in terms of what can help your clients pre labor, during labor, birth and after) & how to ease late pregnancy & birth for clients, tips on how to spot possible complications & how to help your clients in the event of a complication, breastfeeding, postpartum care, hospital birth, policies, and interventions. Get exclusive instruction to help clients with common fears, relaxation/breathing, bonding w/baby and each other, massage, visualization, positive affirmations, and what to do if birth or baby isn't so 'Ecstatic'.
